Lead sanitation efforts with Sofina in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, from 10:30 PM to 7 AM, ensuring compliance and quality in operations. Drive a culture of improvement while managing sanitation operations effectively.
The Sanitation Supervisor position reports directly to the Afternoon Plant Superintendent and is responsible for overseeing sanitation operations to meet safety and regulatory standards. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations teams to maintain a clean and sanitary environment while achieving business objectives. Utilize leadership skills to coach and cross-train employees in the sanitation team.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage sanitation department operations to meet business objectives • Lead and develop hourly sanitation staff through coaching • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety policies • Develop and revise Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures • Coordinate training with third-party chemical suppliers
Requirements: • Degree in food processing or business management • Minimum 5 years of food industry experience • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and Lean Manufacturing • Proven leadership and analytical skills • Proficient in MS Office applications
