In this position, you’ll perform crucial repairs and maintenance on underground mining equipment. Your responsibilities will include inspecting equipment for malfunctions, conducting repairs, and ensuring safety compliance. You will also play a vital role in commissioning new equipment while leveraging a supportive network of experienced technicians across the globe.
Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures • Repair or replace equipment components as needed • Ensure operational performance through thorough testing • Commission and train on new equipment for customers • Maintain precise logs for reporting and inventory management
Requirements: • Trade certification in Heavy Duty Mechanics • At least 3 years of relevant mining equipment experience • Strong communication skills and computer literacy • Ability to read hydraulic and electrical diagrams • Willingness to work varied shifts and travel
