What is the Opportunity?

The SAP Functional Lead Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance) is responsible for enhancing, supporting, and developing all aspects of SAP Ariba SLP at Aecon, with a strong focus on SAP ECC and S/4HANA P2P capabilities. The lead will partner with key stakeholders on projects and business initiatives to maximize the effectiveness of end‑to‑end procurement processes (mainly on procure-to-pay, along with order-to-cash and record-to-report) while ensuring the overall operational health, controls, and roadmap of the SAP Procurement landscape.

What You’ll Do Here

• Gather, analyze, prioritize, and document business requirements through workshops and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Analyze complex business processes and recommend SAP Ariba SLP solutions aligned with Aecon requirements.
• Build strong understanding of Aecon business processes and act as liaison for SAP Ariba SLP production support.
• Lead application design, blueprinting, configuration, enhancements, and documentation for SAP Ariba SLP functionality.
• Serve as the hands‑on functional expert during unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and QA coordination.
• Coordinate with SAP Functional Analysts, Leads, QA, technical teams, vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Support S/4HANA procurement integration architecture, including SAP BTP services, CPI, APIs, and integration across SAP and non‑SAP applications.
• Provide end‑user training, job aids, release communications, and adoption support for SAP ECC, S/4HANA Procurement, Fiori, and Ariba SLP processes.
• Follow SAP best practices and Aecon ITSM processes while supporting changes, expedited transports, releases, regression testing, and cutover activities.
• Work independently, mentor junior resources, support audits when required, and operate according to internal, external, and legal standards.
