Train as an Electrical Generation Systems Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces and play a critical role in power generation. Operate, maintain, and repair essential electrical systems for military units.
As part of this military occupation, you will be involved in various engineering services and usually work with the Air Force, possibly within Army or Navy environments. You will gain hands-on experience with mobile generators, uninterruptable power systems, and conduct vital electrical repairs. Comprehensive training will equip you with the necessary skills and network of support.
Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and repair mobile electrical generators • Operate and manage control equipment • Carry out overhauls on electrical systems • Create designs and specifications for repairs • Execute welding and machine work as needed
Requirements: • Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent • No previous work experience required • Must pass physical fitness training • Expect potential relocations in Regular Force • Open to specialized training opportunities
