This full-time role invites professionals to participate in the Mental Health and Addictions Program. You will provide psychiatric assessments, deliver inpatient and outpatient services, and consult with facilities like the Tuckamore Residential Treatment Centre. Key Responsibilities
• Provide assessment and treatment for children and adolescents up to 18
• Deliver inpatient and outpatient child and youth mental health services
• Collaborate with pediatricians and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry on-call system
• Support person
- and family-centered care practices
Requirements:
• Medical Degree (MD) and FRCPC in Psychiatry
• Subspecialty certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NL
• Satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check
