In this permanent position, you will provide vital mechanical support for plant and yard equipment across our recycling facility. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and operating heavy machinery. This hands-on role emphasizes safety procedures and teamwork, ensuring a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all machinery • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems • Maintain and repair conveyors, shredders, and other equipment • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics • Complete accurate maintenance documentation
Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience • Proven welding skills and certification required • Strong troubleshooting abilities in mechanical systems • Valid G driver's license and personal trade tools required • Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed
