This 1-year contract position reports to the Senior Manager of Laboratory Operations. You will ensure the efficient implementation of Point of Care testing programs, emphasizing quality, compliance, and patient safety. Relevant skills include troubleshooting equipment, training staff, and conducting calibration verifications to enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee maintenance and quality checks of POCT equipment • Conduct calibration verifications and implement new methods • Develop and facilitate training for POCT staff • Manage inventory and ensure supply availability • Address non-compliance issues and initiate corrective actions
Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of experience in Point of Care testing • General Medical Laboratory Technologist certification • Familiarity with AegisPOC software preferred • Experience in developing competency programs • Ability to perform a full range of Medical Technologist duties
