Strathcona Resources is seeking a Tableau Data Analyst to join their Calgary team on an 18-month contract. Engage with stakeholders to create impactful data dashboards and uphold best practices in data governance.
Reporting to the Team Lead, Analytics, you will play an essential role in designing and maintaining scalable data products. Collaborate with internal teams to provide high-quality visual analytics that meet business needs, all while fostering an environment of accountability and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and manage Tableau dashboards for effective data storytelling
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into analytics
• Conduct testing, documentation, and validation for quality assurance
• Prepare raw data through appropriate transformations and cleaning
• Ensure consistency and maintain scalable analytics solutions
Requirements:
• Expertise in Databricks and data lake querying
• Proven experience in dashboard development with Tableau
• Familiarity with analytical governance and BI standards
• Oil and gas experience and knowledge of Maximo is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to clean and assess data quality independently Harness your integrity and intelligence to contribute to the success of Strathcona’s Analytics team.
