For this role, you can expect a salary between $40,000 – $45,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for a new vacancy.
Assistant Media Planner This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly collaborative team and the opportunity to manage a client directly. You will work directly with media planners, buyers and advertising vendors.
what you’ll do.
maintain our media library and keep media kit files up-to-date
build rapport with media vendor representatives and manage agency/client relations on an ongoing basis
execute and manage the Request for Proposal + Media Purchase Authorization processes
assist with tracking media expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance
collaborate with media team members to resolve media billing issues
collect data and assist in writing competitive reports
assist with smaller proposal evaluations and client media plans
researching and developing POVs on new and emerging media opportunities within the media landscape
budget and media cost tracking and analysis
what you bring to the table.
A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
Willing to continually learn and stay ahead of the new media curve
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation abilities
Attention to detail required and comfortable dealing with data on a regular basis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with media platforms such as comScore (a major plus)
