Enhance play-based education as a Before and After School Program Facilitator with the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario in North Bay. This part-time role requires creativity and attention to children's needs.
The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario seeks passionate Early Learning Facilitators for its North Bay locations. Engage with children from 0-12 years old, ensuring a nurturing environment through fun and educational activities. Your responsibilities will include implementing YMCA curricula while adhering to child care regulations and maintaining children's safety.
Key Responsibilities: • Ensure attentive supervision to support children's well-being • Record live attendance and perform regular head counts • Deliver engaging programming based on YMCA guidelines • Track children's development and communicate with caregivers • Conduct safety scans for program areas indoors and outdoors
Requirements: • Diploma or degree in a related field • At least two (2) years of experience with children • Current CPR and First Aid certifications • Good standing membership with Early Childhood Educators • Ability to work flexible hours and promote social inclusion
