- £170 per day We have an opportunity for a skilled and reliable Carpenter Multi-Trade to join a well-established local contractor's responsive repairs team. This role involves working across social housing properties throughout Farnham, Guildford and Crawley, carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on residential and commercial properties. Installing, repairing, and replacing doors, windows, skirting boards, and other wooden fixtures. Addressing minor plumbing issues such as fixing leaks, replacing taps, and fitting pipework. Patch repairs, skimming walls, and applying finishes where needed. Performing wall and floor tiling, including grouting and re-sealing. Preparing surfaces and applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes. Fitting and repairing vinyl, laminate, and carpet tiles.
Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence (clean) UTR number required for payment (self-employed subcontractor status)
Benefits:
A company van and fuel card provided (for business use) Paid 10 hour workday, including travel time. Overtime opportunities available, including evenings and weekends (paid at time and a half). LON123
