As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role within a client-focused care culture. You will assess and treat various communication and swallowing disorders while providing education and support to clients and families. Engaging with interdisciplinary teams, you will share your expertise in speech therapy and contribute to risk management and research efforts.
Key Responsibilities: • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders • Develop treatment plans and deliver client education • Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds • Present lectures and provide consultations • Offer leadership to new employees and students
Requirements: • Current registration as a Speech Language Pathologist in BC • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and healthcare disciplines • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to prioritize and handle urgent situations • Experience in developing effective working relationships
