Windsor Regional Hospital seeks Anesthesia Assistants to support anesthesiologists in providing high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience. The role includes a commitment to quality enhancement, compliance with safety standards, and promoting a safe work environment. You will contribute to both patient outcomes and your own professional growth, ensuring adherence to relevant care standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in anesthesia management during surgical procedures • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations • Participate in continuous education and improvement initiatives • Deliver expert care in critical situations • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams effectively
Requirements: • Registered Respiratory Therapist with valid Ontario License • Required training as Anesthesia Assistant completed • Current certification as an Anesthesia Assistant • Mandatory B.C.L.S. certification; A.C.L.S. preferred • Flexibility to work all required shifts
