This position requires at least six years of experience in environmental sciences or an equivalent diploma with eight years’ experience. You'll lead groundwater and leachate management while overseeing site remediation projects with a team of skilled sampling professionals. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory bodies is vital, ensuring contributions towards a cleaner, safer city.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage water quality and compliance across waste facilities • Oversee site remediation and engineering management • Supervise the EWMC Sampling Group for monitoring • Analyze and report on environmental monitoring networks • Provide technical project support and financial management
Requirements: • University degree or diploma in Environmental Sciences • Six to eight years in environmental management • Experience in wastewater treatment and pollution prevention • Strong skills in project management and problem-solving • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license required
