At Optima Living, you will join a team committed to quality senior care. This entry-level cooking role requires proficiency in various cooking methods, including roasting and frying. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively will support the dining experience of our residents in a compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare meals using diverse cooking techniques • Organize ingredients and equipment efficiently • Cook menu and therapeutic diet items effectively • Monitor food safety and maintain hygiene standards • Support special events and menu planning
Requirements: • Minimum one year of food preparation experience • Food Safe certification is mandatory • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work flexible shifts • Experience in residential care is an asset
