Exciting Embedded Firmware Engineer role at AMD for ASIC Verification Focus on high-performance SoC microprocessor subsystems while working in Markham or Ottawa and driving innovative solutions.
Join the Security IP Team (SECIP) to co-verify complex hardware and embedded systems. You will need analytical skills and attention to detail, working closely with both firmware and hardware teams to deliver scalable solutions tailored for security. Your engagement will be instrumental in defining co-design strategies and maintaining verification architectures.
Key Responsibilities

¢ Develop, verify, and co-verify embedded firmware for SoCs â€
¢ Conduct hardware/firmware co-verification using FPGA platforms â€
¢ Maintain subsystem verification architecture and methodologies â€
¢ Influence hardware specifications and design models â€
¢ Drive verification closure and improve metrics
Requirements:

¢ Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering â€
¢ Experience in ASIC firmware and hardware verification â€
¢ Proficiency in C, C++, and scripting languages â€
¢ Deep understanding of UVM methodologies â€
¢ Hands-on ASIC verification tools experience Leverage your engineering skills to create exceptional solutions at AMD
