Make an impact on public safety as a Senior Security Coordinator at City Hall, overseeing security operations for City facilities. This full-time position focuses on policy development, staff supervision, and security system management.
You will directly report to building security supervisors, ensuring a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your role encompasses overseeing operations, managing the security budget, and maintaining compliance with relevant Acts and policies. In addition, you will lead project management efforts for security installations and address emergency situations as they arise.
Key Responsibilities: • Supervise daily operations and staff assignments • Develop and implement security plans and audits • Direct security system installations and maintenance • Communicate with local law enforcement and emergency services • Conduct investigations and manage security incidents
Requirements: • Relevant post-secondary education and security experience • Experience managing security teams and resources • Strong knowledge of security policies and legislation • Valid Ontario Driver's License Class 'G' • Superior communication and leadership skills
