Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Senior Java Developer (Engineer I) to join our Trading Risk Warehouse platform team within TD Securities. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of software solutions used by Risk Analysts, Front Office Traders, and Senior Executives.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with modern technologies and large-scale distributed systems while gaining exposure to capital markets, risk management, and enterprise data platforms. Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications on distributed computing platforms.
* Build, enhance, and support data processing pipelines, REST APIs, and web-based applications.
* Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
* Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing activities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues under guidance from senior team members.
* Contribute to code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
* Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
* Identify opportunities to improve application performance, automation, and software quality.
* Collaborate effectively with business analysts, project managers, architects, and global technology teams.
