Job title: Software Tester

Duration: 6 months

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud QA Engineer with strong test automation expertise to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience building robust automation frameworks and is comfortable working in modern cloud‑native environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright
  • Create and execute end-to-end (E2E), UI, API, and integration tests for cloud-based applications
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high‑quality releases
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing in cloud environments
  • Identify defects, log detailed bugs, and work closely with engineering teams for resolution
  • Validate microservices, APIs, and distributed system behaviors in cloud platforms
  • Contribute to testing best practices, standards, and quality processes
  • Monitor test results and maintain test coverage and reliability metrics

Required Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3 6+ years of experience in QA/Test Automation

Strong Hands-on Experience With

  • Cypress for front-end/UI automation
  • Playwright for cross-browser automation

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Solid Understanding Of

  • REST APIs and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Supertest)
  • Microservices architecture
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter)
  • Knowledge of security testing practices
  • Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Mochawesome, etc.)Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
  • Understanding of observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing)
