Summary

Bell's Professional Services team is seeking a dynamic Senior Security Architect to develop and implement comprehensive information security architecture roadmaps for our key clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business acumen and deep technical expertise, enabling them to design robust security solutions for medium to large-scale enterprise environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to act as a trusted advisor, engaging with clients and internal Bell Canada teams, and managing those critical relationships. You will be instrumental in the hands-on design and deployment of security projects, leading project teams of various sizes to successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion information security architecture roadmaps aligned with industry-leading standards and client objectives. Create and deliver compelling presentations to executive leadership and facilitate high-level architecture discussions.
  • Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end security solutions across network, cloud, endpoint, and data protection domains.
  • Partner closely with sales and account teams as a key technical authority. Lead the scoping, design, and estimation of custom security solutions for prospective clients, and draft compelling technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses that translate complex technical architectures into clear, value-driven business outcomes.
  • Define technical requirements for securing new and existing technologies, applications, and networks. Provide expert technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and IT architects.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments for security integration under responsibility and ensure all solutions comply with corporate security and regulatory policies (e.g. PCI-DSS).
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams, both internally and with customers, to integrate security seamlessly into the technology landscape. Develop and execute a clear communication plan for security architecture initiatives and oversee the integration of security designs and best practices within operation and engineering teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert during critical and major security incidents, providing guidance on remediation and strategic improvements.

Critical Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a security architecture role.
  • Expertise in designing solutions for context-aware firewalls, cloud solutions, authentication, encryption, event correlation, and network identity and access management.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as TOGAF and PCI-DSS.
  • Experience with the following technologies: Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto (Prisma Access, SD-WAN, Cloud).
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • High level of personal integrity, leadership, professionalism, the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and act as technical lead with engineering teams in security solution integration.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional security certification such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).

Cisco CCNP Security or CCIE.

Experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
