This permanent position demands effective clinical and operational leadership for nursing services in a geriatric-focused facility. You will supervise Unit Managers and Enrolled Nurses, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and nursing standards. Your role involves monitoring clinical risks while fostering team accountability and development.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide clinical oversight across all nursing units • Manage staffing, rostering, and workforce utilization • Conduct audits and implement quality improvement initiatives • Liaise with health professionals, residents, and families • Monitor clinical governance, incidents, and safety protocols
Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Nursing • Current SANC registration • 5+ years nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care • 2-3 years management or supervisory experience • Strong knowledge of nursing standards and legislation
