Overview

Position: Avionics Technician in the A220 commercial aircraft program. Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Install and repair electrical and avionics components.
  • Perform functional tests and calibration on aircraft systems.
  • Diagnose and inspect avionics systems such as communication and navigation systems, radar, detection circuits, calculators, cameras, recording, automatic controls, dashboards, and all electrical equipment.
  • Repair avionics systems as needed.
  • Make changes according to service bulletins while respecting industry standards.
  • Other related functions that may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

  • A D.C.S. or A.C.S. Technical Avionics OR.
  • An E License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the avionics field within the last 5 years.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and work well in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Require work in a confined space on a regular basis.
  • Require work at heights of up to 30 feet on a regular basis.
  • Ability to adopt and maintain different physical positions as required by the job.
  • Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
