Become a vital part of Mantech Enterprises as a Production Technician in North Vancouver, where you will focus on assembling sophisticated paper systems products. This role requires a hands-on approach along with continuous improvement strategies in manufacturing tasks. As a Production Technician, you will report directly to the Production Planner and focus on high-quality assembly processes. Your role will involve understanding technical drawings while contributing to efficient assembly and quality control practices. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and support various tasks including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assembly, while guiding improvements in operational procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble paper systems with mechanical and electrical components
- Interpret and utilize assembly and schematic drawings
- Set up and execute testing procedures
- Propose and implement improvements to manufacturing processes
- Assist in quality control measures
- Diploma in a mechanical discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly
- Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and operate a forklift
