PROCESS OPERATOR – 24/7 SCHEDULE

Job Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the position holder is responsible for operating plasma systems and auxiliary equipment. As a member of Tekna’s production team, they will actively take part in the following activities:

Responsabilities

• Operate plasma systems;
• Operate auxiliary metal powder processing equipment;
• Perform various material handling tasks using equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.;
• Perform tasks dedicated to quality control and process management;
• Participate in improving products, procedures, and work methods;
• Bottle and prepare finished products for shipment;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
• Comply with prescribed health and safety rules;
• Take part in equipment maintenance and upkeep, as well as plant cleaning;
• Participate in any other related tasks.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in an industrial setting;
• Ability to work independently;
• Versatile, rigorous, with a strong sense of initiative and good analytical skills;
• Comfortable with office software (Office suite).

Work Conditions

• 24/7 cycle schedule with 12-hour shifts (13 twelve-hour shifts per month)
• Salary: Hourly rate: $23.93 24/7, hourly premium: $4.00/hour
