You will collaborate closely with fellow journalists and contribute to compelling storytelling. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver breaking news across radio and digital platforms
- Write, edit, and package engaging news scripts
- Conduct impactful interviews on-air and off
- Self-operate the studio audio board during broadcasts
- Mentor junior journalists to uphold CBC standards
- Four years of experience in live news reporting
- Excellent script writing and editing abilities
- Strong news judgment and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of Alberta’s socio-political landscape
- Valid driver’s license meeting CBC requirements
