Landscaping Supervisor

Jim’s Mowing Glenrosa South is looking for a Full-Time Landscaping Supervisor (NOC 82031) This is a full-time, permanent position with 30 hours per week.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping labourers
• Plan and estimate the materials and labour requirements for individual contracts
• Organize planting and maintenance of grass, lawns, trees, gardens, shrubs and hedges
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Requisition supplies and materials
• Hire staff and train workers in job duties and company policies
• Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance equipment
• As needed, perform the same duties as workers supervised

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping, with some supervisory experience
• Language in the workplace is English
