Join BGC Okanagan in Salmon Arm as a Case Manager, focusing on youth support and resource connection. Play a critical role in enhancing life skills and resilience among vulnerable youth. In the Youth Outreach Program, you will collaborate with youth and their families to identify challenges and set achievable goals. This role involves creating and implementing effective intervention plans while facilitating sessions that build important life skills. Engaging with community resources will enhance the support provided. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess youths’ needs through comprehensive interviews and meetings
- Develop collaborative and individualized intervention plans
- Lead group and individual sessions for skill enhancement
- Monitor and report on the outcomes of intervention efforts
- Network with other service providers to advocate for youth
- Diploma in social/human services or relevant experience
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Successful criminal record clearance
- Flexibility to work 28.5 hours weekly with set days
