Contract Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the legal and commercial services sector, is seeking a Contract Specialist to join their team. As a Contract Specialist, you will be part of the Contract Management team supporting various projects and accounts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Contract Specialist

Location: Vancouver, BC — Although the role is 100% remote, the candidate must be located in Western Canada and be willing to visit clients if required.

Pay Range: : CAD $42hr on T4 OR CAD $50hr incorporated + HST.

What's the Job?

• Support contract management teams across multiple projects and accounts, working closely with account leadership and stakeholders to understand and support client needs and priorities.
• Assist in the negotiation, drafting, and ongoing management of client contracts to ensure compliance and maximize value for all parties.
• Identify, elevate and resolve commercial and contractual risks and issues, working collaboratively with project leadership.
• Support pre‑award sales activities, engaging with delivery teams to shape deals and contractual outcomes, including contract drafting support.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with client counterparts, demonstrating professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in contract management.
• Membership or certification from the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is a plus.
• Ability to work across multiple projects, accounts and geographies, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
