Aecon is looking for motivated Engineering Co-op students to join their Civil West division. This position will immerse you in significant heavy civil projects, with tasks ranging from site audits to assisting field teams under minimal supervision. You'll tackle real challenges in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough site audits and produce detailed reports
• Provide assistance to field engineers and superintendents daily
• Perform quantity take-off from construction drawings
• Liaise with various stakeholders on project schedules
• Maintain project files and support end-of-month reconciliations
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a university program in Civil Engineering
• Construction experience is a strong advantage
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is favorable
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Flexible schedule required for project demands Gain invaluable site experience and insights into the engineering field with Aecon's Civil West division.
