Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to brand, merchandising, safety, asset protection, and inventory standards while managing procurement, receiving, and warehousing processes.
  • Prepare and administer budgets, pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory to achieve business goals.
  • Manages sales growth and profitability through effective pricing, promotions, product recommendations, and store standards.
  • Oversee customer service, daily operations, ordering, receiving, inventory management, and merchandising activities.
  • Foster a positive work environment and build a strong culture of team engagement.
  • Lead talent development, coaching, and performance management for the meat department.
  • Provide leadership and direction while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and support team members to achieve success.
  • Mentor employees and deliver exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive knowledge of meat department products with 35 years of meat department management experience.
  • Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, and Excel); able to adapt to new technology.
  • Strong communication skills with a high level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Flexible with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to address issues effectively through direct, actionable feedback in diverse environments.

  • Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
