Process Engineer at Paramount Resources

Paramount Resources Ltd. seeks a seasoned Process Engineer for its gas processing facilities in Alberta. Focus on optimizing plant operations, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficiency in a dynamic environment. As part of the Operations Engineering team, this role supports Willesden Green and Sinclair facilities, driving reliability and maximizing production while working closely with field teams. Ideal for an engineer with over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and expertise in process technologies, this position involves hands-on technical support and problem solving. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and optimize performance of gas processing facilities
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for plant operators
• Analyze upstream oil, gas, condensate, and water processes
• Participate in HAZOP and PHA studies for safety
• Collaborate on continuous improvement projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of process engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of sour gas treating and dehydration
• Proficiency in process simulation software
• Must reside near operational facilities
