Live-In Nanny

We are looking for a responsible, caring, reliable, and trustworthy live-in nanny to help care for our 5-year-old child and assist with light household duties. The nanny will have **their own private bedroom in our home. We are looking for someone who can become a dependable part of our household while maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for our child. Main Responsibilities

• Help our child get ready for school in the morning, including dressing, breakfast, and preparing school items.
• Drop him off at school in the morning.
• Pick him up from school in the afternoon.
• Provide supervision and age-appropriate care before and after school.
• Help with meals/snacks for the child as needed.
• Assist with homework, reading, playtime, and his evening routine when required.
• Keep the child's room, play areas, and belongings organized.
• Assist with general/light household cleaning, including tidying, dishes, laundry, sweeping/vacuuming, and keeping common areas clean.

Free Time Because our child will be in school during the day, there will be significant free time between school drop-off and pick-up. You are welcome to use this time for yourself, including personal errands, appointments, studying, resting, or other activities, as long as it does not interfere with the child's care, scheduled household responsibilities, or school pick-up time. Requirements

• Must genuinely enjoy working with children.
• Must be responsible, patient, dependable, and respectful.
• Valid driver's licence required.
• Must be comfortable driving for school drop-off/pick-up and activities as required.
• Must be willing to complete a background check / Vulnerable Sector Check and provide references.
• Previous childcare or nanny experience is preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
• Must maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality regarding the family and household.
• Must be comfortable helping with household cleaning.

Child Safety Our child's safety and well-being are our highest priorities. No form of abuse, neglect, intimidation, inappropriate discipline, verbal aggression, physical punishment, or mistreatment of any kind will be tolerated. We are looking for someone who uses patience, communication, positive reinforcement, and age-appropriate approaches when caring for our child. Accommodation This is a live-in position, and the nanny will be provided with:

• Their own private bedroom
• Access to household facilities
• A comfortable and respectful living environment
