The successful applicant will need to have the professional skills expected as a journalist to conduct interviews, cover events and accept assignments from the editor, take photos, cover breaking news and supply content for special sections, as well as write proficiently to relay the stories in an interesting and informative fashion. Our reporters should also have a keen interest in using multiple social media platforms to inform and engage our community.
