Family Helper / Mother's Helper — Broadview/Danforth, Toronto We're a busy working family looking for a reliable, trustworthy, warm, and organized helper to keep our household running smoothly. This is a hands-on role that blends light childcare with home support — ideal for someone who likes variety and takes pride in a well-run home. Schedule: Flexible - Mon–Fri, 8-12:30 or 2:30–6:30pm (10-12 hrs per week) Start date: October 2026 Rate: ~$25/hour What the role involves:

• Occasional School drop-off OR pick-up (local school, community center)
• Occasional activity drop off (walking distance from school/home)
• Light childcare — after-school snacks, homework support, and supervision until we're off work.
• Errands: groceries, pharmacy, dry cleaning, and similar.
• Walking our friendly 22-lb miniature schnauzer
• Meal prep — planning and prepping family dinners
• Tidying, organizing, and light cleaning (laundry, kitchen reset, keeping common areas in order)
• Occasional seasonal tasks and light yardwork

Who we're looking for

• Genuinely enjoys being around kids and is comfortable with a small dog
• Dependable and punctual
• Self-directed: sees what needs doing and gets on with it, without needing a list every day
• Experience with meal planning, comfort with basic home organizing systems.
• Non-smoker
• Able to provide two recent references and a current police record check / vulnerable sector screening
• First aid and CPR certification an asset
