SAP CPE Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Commodity Management Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) and BRF+ frameworks. The role focuses on designing, configuring, and supporting commodity pricing solutions, including development of CPE routines and pricing logic to support complex business requirements.

About the Role

Remote role – but travel needed to St. John, NB needed once a month. Contract Length – 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) for commodity-based pricing scenarios
• Design and maintain pricing strategies, formulas, and condition types within CPE
• Develop and enhance CPE routines to support complex pricing calculations and business logic
• Utilize BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus) to design and manage rules-based pricing processes
• Support end-to-end commodity pricing lifecycle, including:
• Formula-based pricing
• Settlement and invoice integration
• Perform system configuration and setup for commodity management solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate pricing requirements into system design
• Ensure integration with SAP SD, MM, and FI modules for pricing, billing, and financial reporting
• Participate in testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and provide production support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Commodity Management / CPE

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE)
• BRF+ framework
• Experience in pricing configuration and formula-based pricing models
• Understanding of end-to-end commodity trading and pricing processes
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred) or ECC
• Some travel to St. John's NB might be needed
