Become a key educator at ILSC's Summer Juniors Residential Program in Vancouver. As a part-time ESL Teacher, inspire students aged 10-17 through dynamic lesson delivery.
ILSC is inviting applications for part-time ESL Teachers for the Residential Juniors Program at UBC. This 6-week role, from June 29 to August 7, 2026, focuses on enhancing students' English skills in a supportive environment. Candidates should be able to work five mornings a week and are expected to maintain high-quality instruction based on the ILSC Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare engaging lessons that improve students' language accuracy and fluency
• Teach 15 hours of English lessons weekly, Monday to Friday
• Assess student progress and maintain academic records
• Foster an inclusive environment for self-expression and cooperation
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and TESL certification
• Experience teaching students aged 10-17
• Eligible to work in Canada without restrictions
• Clear criminal record check required
• Membership in union required Bring your teaching skills and passion for language to ILSC and make a difference
