Project Management Manager in Asset Management

Oversee the effective execution of asset projects for Brookfield Renewable North American in Powell River, BC. This position focuses on project delivery, team leadership, and safety compliance initiatives. The Manager of Asset Management will work closely with the Director while leading the project execution team. Your role involves managing industrial or hydroelectric projects, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met across all phases of project work. Collaboration with the Operations team will be key to achieving project goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead health, safety, security, and environment initiatives
• Oversee project execution and capital investment planning
• Manage team performance and continuous improvement efforts
• Ensure compliance with all project policies and legal requirements
• Handle budgets, forecasts, and external consultant management

Requirements:

• Membership in a Canadian engineering association
• Proven experience managing hydroelectric projects
• Preferred PMP certification or project management training
• Strong analytical skills for technical specifications
• Familiarity with BC regulatory requirements
