Echelon Insurance Actuarial Internship

Embark on a professional journey as an Actuarial Intern at Echelon Insurance. Develop your skills in a dynamic environment, working in either Mississauga or Montreal. Reporting to an Actuarial Manager, this internship provides hands-on experience in various actuarial disciplines including Pricing, Corporate, or Analytics. Collaborate with colleagues on critical tasks such as data analysis, reserve reviews, and financial reporting. This role not only builds your technical skills but also presents opportunities to work on important projects like IFRS 17 and profitability assessments. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data through applications for extraction
• Prepare estimates of liabilities for review
• Assist in monthly claims diagnostics and reserve analysis
• Support month-end financial reporting processes
• Conduct analyses for financial condition testing initiatives

• Currently studying Actuarial Science or related fields
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python and SQL
• Must be proactive and adaptable to challenges
• High proficiency in English, French preferred in Montreal
