Accountant, Inventory Accounting

Join Winpak's Accounting Team as an Accountant in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Contribute to financial accuracy through monthly reconciliations and detailed financial analysis, fully onsite. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in general accounting functions and financial reporting. You will maintain the integrity of financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and assist in month-end closings. Collaboration is key as you will support the financial team in generating consolidated monthly statements.

Key Responsibilities

¢ Maintain integrity across accounts receivable, payable, and inventory â€
¢ Prepare monthly journal entries and perform reconciliations â€
¢ Complete bank reconciliations for various accounts â€
¢ Analyze discrepancies in monthly sales reports â€
¢ Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders

Requirements:

¢ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education â€
¢ 3+ years of progressive accounting experience â€
¢ Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis â€
¢ Effective communication skills across all levels â€
