SOUTHLAND 310T Mechanic

SOUTHLAND Transportation is hiring a 310T Mechanic in Marathon, featuring a $5,000 hiring bonus for qualified candidates. Focus on bus maintenance in a collaborative environment. As a full-time, on-site mechanic, your work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with some overtime required. Responsibilities include all aspects of bus maintenance, performing safety inspections, and documenting repair work. The position also includes travel for remote service calls. Key Responsibilities:

• Service and repair company buses regularly
• Perform brake and safety inspections reliably
• Complete necessary documentation for repairs
• Address breakdowns in a timely manner
• Carry out seasonal maintenance as needed

Requirements:

• Must hold a 310T Mechanic license
• Required Safety Inspection License
• Experience with Fleet Management Systems preferred
• Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Fluency in English for effective communication
