Responsibilities

  • Lead and recruit a passionate web development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Architect and drive the build of a new cloud-native platform on AWS with a modern serverless TypeScript stack.
  • Lead the modernization of our existing web applications (PHP) toward a modern, scalable microservices architecture.
  • Ensure security, observability, and 24/7 platform reliability with expertise in OpenTelemetry, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Champion the adoption of AI coding engines and AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining rigorous quality and security standards.
  • Develop robust, scalable APIs and serverless backend applications with TypeScript while gradually modernizing our existing PHP infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • You have 7+ years of web development experience , including 3+ years in technical leadership or team management.
  • You have proven experience designing and deploying SaaS applications and APIs on AWS , with deep expertise in serverless TypeScript architecture (Lambda, API Gateway) and core services (RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM).
  • You have a strong command of SQL (Aurora, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB), including caching and query optimization.
  • You are experienced with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, CloudWatch, ELK) and maintain a strong culture of monitoring and alerting for mission-critical systems.
  • You have advanced cybersecurity expertise : secrets management, compliance (SOC 2, GDPR), security auditing, and cloud security best practices.
  • You are enthusiastic about adopting AI coding tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to boost productivity without compromising quality or security.
  • You embrace full ownership: 24/7 platform stability, incident management, and resilience of critical systems.
  • You have excellent leadership and mentoring skills, and you can foster technical excellence and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
