Enhancement Educator at YMCA

Join the YMCA as an Enhancement Educator and create a nurturing environment for children with special needs. This part-time role focuses on child-centered programming and staff support. The YMCA is seeking passionate Enhancement Educators (RECE or Non-RECE) to bolster our child care services. You will enhance learning experiences based on the Playing to Learn curriculum and maintain a safe, engaging environment. Your responsibilities include supporting fellow educators, assisting in child development documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Support educators in planning child-centered programs
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
• Administer medication as required
• Assist in observing and recording child development
• Promote teamwork and provide support to staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certification
• RECE designation or related degree preferred
• Familiarity with Child Care Early Years Act
• Criminal Reference Check within 90 days
