Become a skilled Carpenter with Surrey School District Enjoy afternoon shifts focusing on renovations, repairs, and new installations at various school facilities in a supportive environment. This role within the Carpentry department reports to the Manager of Structural Maintenance. The perfect candidate will have a Red Seal endorsement in Carpentry and experience in institutional settings. You will perform duties both independently and as part of a cohesive team, ensuring the completion of projects to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diverse carpentry tasks across district sites
• Collaborate on projects with other tradespeople
• Ensure quality workmanship in repairs and installations
• Maintain safe and efficient work environments
• Attend to all assigned tasks promptly

• Class 5 BC Driver’s license is mandatory
• Interprovincial trades qualification with Red Seal
• Experience with locksmithing is advantageous
• Physical strength and aptitude for job tasks
• Approval for a Criminal Record Search required
