Post-Doctoral Researcher in Nuclear Physics

• Extract Ba-136 from Xe-136 via radiofrequency funnel
• Commission and optimize ion transport beamline and mass spectrometer
• Characterize gas extraction efficiencies under varied conditions
• Lead Ba-tagging efforts at McGill and TRIUMF
• Supervise graduate students and summer interns

Requirements:

• Completed Ph.D. in physics or similar field
• Expertise in experimental nuclear or particle physics
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Organizational skills for multitasking on projects
• Proficient in English for research documentation and communication
