Expert z/OS Mainframe Programmer Needed

Expand your expertise as an Expert z/OS Mainframe System Programmer located in Brampton, ON. This role, lasting 6+ months, invites candidates with a strong background in system architecture and management. We need a skilled Systems Programmer with 10 to 20 years of experience. Your primary focus will be on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting z/OS systems and related tools. Collaborate with IT operations to drive project successes and maintain high system availability. Key Responsibilities:

• Install and manage mainframe software tools
• Provide 24x7 on-call technical support
• Actively monitor status to preempt issues
• Conduct periodic disaster recovery exercises

• 10-20 years in z/OS environments
• Proficient in JCL, DFSMS, TSO techniques
• Familiar with REXX, COBOL, and other products
• Solid UNIX/Linux, Windows skills
