Senior Director of Government Affairs

Lead AstraZeneca's national government affairs initiatives as the Senior Director. Influence healthcare policy to ensure improved patient access during your tenure in this strategic role. As a member of the Corporate Affairs Leadership Team, you will design AstraZeneca Canada’s national government relations strategy. Your role involves advancing critical initiatives, leading a diverse team, and collaborating to shape internal and external stakeholder perceptions. Your ability to convey policy priorities will provide significant insights to executives on public affairs issues. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop impactful government relations strategic plans
• Measure economic contributions and advocate for enhancements
• Lead collaborative efforts with government sector partners
• Deliver timely briefings to internal stakeholders
• Guide AstraZeneca’s trade association leadership engagements

Requirements:

• Proven track record in government and corporate affairs
• In-depth understanding of Canadian health policy
• At least 10 years of leadership experience
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
