Promote a strong safety culture in Brantford as the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at Minerals Technologies Inc. Your expertise will help shape compliance and improvement initiatives.
You will be instrumental in advancing the EHS process at the Normerica plant while ensuring regulatory compliance with Ontario and global environmental standards. This role requires you to spearhead training initiatives, enhance safety inspections, and lead contingency plans for environmental management across multiple sites. Your role will influence sustainable practices in production settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee safety compliance and standards implementation
• Conduct inspections and identify potential hazards
• Lead EHS training and emergency response planning
• Analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement
• Participate in regulatory negotiations and compliance tracking
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, or Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in a production environment
• Expertise in federal EHS regulations and compliance
• Strong communication and training abilities
