Position: AZ Professional Walking Floor Driver
Travel Required: Yes, Cross border Day Trips to United States (Out of town availability required)
Status: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 13 hour shifts potentially

YORK1 seeks responsible drivers adept at operating Walking Floor Trucks. The role entails safely transporting waste or recyclable materials, navigating varied terrains, including high traffic areas, construction sites, and transfer stations.
Conduct pre
- and post-inspections of assigned vehicle/equipment, documenting checks using standard forms or online tools. Drive Walking Floor trucks along designated commercial and residential routes to collect and transport construction debris to disposal sites. Comply with transportation laws and procedures. Customer Service Interact courteously with customers/public along routes, addressing queries or concerns. Leave customer locations clean and debris-free where appropriate. Attend scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings. Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience. Minimum 1 year of experience driving Walking Floor Trucks. AZ Ontario driver’s license. Valid passport is required to cross the U.
Customer service-oriented. Continuous use of motor coordination throughout 10 – 13-hour shifts. Exposure to varying outdoor elements, noise, and odors. Normal setting: outdoors and/or driving a GPS monitored vehicle.
