Journeyman Cabinet Maker in Richmond

Elevate educational experiences as a Cabinet Maker with the Richmond School District. Engage in a full-time role focused on creating and maintaining classroom furniture across facilities. In this position, reporting to the Facilities Services department, you'll be responsible for the construction of cabinets and millwork to meet the needs of 53 district schools. Candidates must be certified under the Inter-Provincial Red Seal program and enjoy working in a creative atmosphere dedicated to supporting education.

Key Responsibilities
• Alter and maintain existing district facilities
• Build and install various millwork items
• Read and design based on technical specifications
• Offer technical expertise to school staff

Requirements:
• Red Seal/Inter-Provincial Cabinet Maker qualification
• 2 years' experience in commercial carpentry
• Proficient in carpentry techniques and safety regulations
• Competency with industry-standard tools and equipment
