Childhood Educator Role at Compass ELC

Help children thrive as a Registered Early Childhood Educator at Compass Early Learning and Care. This full-time role focuses on fostering play-based learning from Monday to Friday. Your role at Compass ELC will involve planning and leading enriching activities that resonate with children's unique interests. Engage in active supervision, build meaningful relationships with families, and maintain a safe environment for growth. Contribute to a culture of collaboration and inclusivity in one of East-Central Ontario's largest child care organizations. Key Responsibilities:

• Design interest-based and play-focused activities
• Supervise children while facilitating play
• Record and reflect on children's learning progress
• Maintain safety and health standards in the environment
• Provide support in personal hygiene routines

Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience working with youth
• Familiarity with applicable child care regulations
• Valid certifications: Police Check and CPR Level C
• High School Diploma or GED required
• ECE diploma or equivalent designation preferred
